ABIA SOUTH 2027: ABA LA OHAZU WOMEN BACK PRINCE PAUL IKONNE, DECLARE TOTAL SUPPORT

Aba, Nigeria

The senatorial ambition of Prince Paul Ikonne, the All Progressives Congress APC candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, has received a major boost as the Indigenous Women of Aba North and Aba South Local Government Areas declared their total support for his 2027 campaign.

Coming closely on the heels of his strategic engagement with the ASIWAJU TSUNAMI SPECIAL SQUAD today at his office, 7 Oron Street Aba, this latest wave of endorsement further solidifies Prince Ikonne’s growing momentum across the district.

The indigenous women, representing various communities and local networks across the two major local government areas, converged to voice their unwavering commitment. They described Prince Ikonne as “their own,” citing his deep grassroots connection, accessibility, and integrity as the reasons for their decision.

Speaking during the solidarity gathering, the leaders of the women Mrs Ijeoma Omenazu and Mrs Amuchechukwu Elijah for Aba North and Aba South respectively announced that Prince Paul Ikonne is their sole candidate for the 2027 general elections. They emphasized that the district requires a senator with proven public service milestones and a clear blueprint capable of driving meaningful transformation at the Red Chamber.

“We have watched his consistent dedication to our people,” one of the women leaders stated.

“Prince Paul Ikonne understands the struggles of the ordinary citizen in Aba. He has shown private sector integrity and public service transparency. The indigenous women of Aba North and South are completely united behind him and President Tinubu to ensure a resounding victory”.

With different prominent groups, stakeholders, and now indigenous community women aligning with his vision, Prince Ikonne’s campaign continues to build a highly organized, formidable, and inclusive political network ahead of the 2027 polls.
