The Elite Club of Ngwa Land Holds Successful 2025 Annual General Meeting

The Elite Club of Ngwa Land held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 8th June 2025, with great success at Havillah Hotels and Towers in Uyo. Renowned for its unwavering commitment to education and community development, the club has continued to provide scholarships, bursaries, and execute impactful projects across various villages in Ngwa Land.

In his address at the gathering, the President of the club, Barr. Tony Enwereji, expressed deep appreciation to members for their dedication and called for even greater unity. He reiterated the club’s mission to uplift lives across the local government areas of Ala Ngwa.
“Our mission is simple,” he stated, “to show the light by uplifting our people through meaningful projects.”

The AGM concluded on a high note, with members renewing their commitment to community service. Discussions were also held around new initiatives in health and education, which are set to commence before the end of the year.

The event was graced by several distinguished sons of Ngwaland, including Dr. Alex Alozie , Executive Director at UBA and member of the club’s Board of Trustees; Chief Eric Opah, CEO of Fortune Global Logistics; Uche Onyeigwe, Regional Director at Access Bank; Professor Nnamdi Nwaeze , a renowned development economist; Jonathan Irondi, Managing Director of SocketWorks; Chief Orji Obioma Reuben , CEO of Kinethrone Private Jet Logistics Limited; Caleb Eze from the Office of the Governor, Lagos State; and Godwin Adindu , former Chief Press Secretary to the Governor among other notable sons of Ngwa Land.
