Abia LGA Funds: Stop This Intimidation Tactics Now
Abia LGA Funds: Stop This Intimidation Tactics Now

Mr Governor, please ask your aides to drop this judicial intimidation tactics immediately.
As elected Govenor, you are superintending over a democratic entity and should expect to be criticized and even lied against. While in the opposition, Govenor Otti, you lied against me when you publicly wrote and widely circulated fake news that I authored a document I didn’t even know at the time existed yet I didn’t bother to sue you for defamation because of my understanding that there are imperfections in a democratic system which makes tolerance a key requirement for leadership.
This is the 6th time you and members of your team are attempting to use judicial intimidation to silence young Abians. Wheras your office only need to release a statement to clarify instead of directing yoir media aides to regularly abuse your political opponents. Even the plaintiff in this matter was very active at social media while you were in the opposition from 2014-2023 and surely know that all he needs do in the instant case is release a formal statement stating that no N150m was given to Mayors and State Legislators, if that is the case.
In any case, LGAs in Abia state have so far received more than N7b each from federal allocations, under yoir watch, and not even one Mayor has told citizens what was done with the ‘humungous’ amount. Whereas their counterparts in Enugu State are constructing paved rural roads with bridges.
Please Mr Govenor sir, tell your aides to drop this intimidation tactics NOW. Also ask your personally selected Mayors to individually account for the billions received by their LGAs in order to end speculations on what you gave them for projects or otherwise. If your government was transparent and accountable nobody will expect a Governor to give N150m to elected LGA Chairmen for projects.
Every month all 17 LGAs in Abia State get at least net N200m after wage payment. To suggest a Governor is giving each of them N150m for projects also insinuates the Governor is the one pocketing their allocations while releasing peanuts to them whenever he wishes. I sincerely continue to hope that is not what you, Governor Alex Otti, is doing hence my insistence that citizens ask the Mayors to either give account of their stewardship or publicly confess that a higher power is taking thier monthly allocations In defiance of the Supreme Courr of Nigeria and our constitution.
Intimidating citizens to silence, in a democracy, is DANGEROUS!!!
