#Abia Intercity Free Bus: Abians Applaud Otti’s Administration, Seek Expansion
Residents of Abia State have commended the state government under the leadership of Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for the introduction of the Abia Intercity Free Electric Bus Service, describing it as a people-oriented initiative that has eased transportation challenges and reduced commuting costs.
Commuters who have benefited from the service praised the buses for being modern, clean, and well-equipped, featuring air-conditioning, charging ports, and CCTV surveillance, which enhance comfort, safety, and accountability. Many users noted that the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to sustainable development and the welfare of Abians, especially workers, students, traders, and low-income earners.
While applauding the innovation, residents also offered constructive feedback.
