#₦100 MILLION FOR OTTI — UKWA LA NGWA SPEAKS
Ukwa La Ngwa has made a bold statement by raising a whooping ₦100 million to purchase a gubernatorial nomination form in support of Governor Alex Otti, OFR, ahead of 2027.
The hosting of the Governor was top-notch. Kudos to the organizers. Truly, Ndi nwe ala afutala.
This gesture reflects confidence in Governor Otti’s leadership, reforms, and people-focused governance in Abia State.
However, while the donation is commendable, an honest conversation is necessary.
Across many wards, the impact of some political office holders remains unseen. Youth unemployment, weak empowerment programs, and poor community development persist. Charity begins at home.
The same energy and resources used for political endorsement should also translate into jobs, empowerment, skills acquisition, and visible development at the grassroots.
Supporting a performing Governor is good. Matching that support with real impact in our communities is even better.
₦100 million is historic.
Let it also inspire responsible leadership and grassroots transformation.
