The untold economic hardship experienced in Nigeria cannot be over-emphasized. This has affected businesses, families, and all facets of the economy in Nigeria. Today, Nigeria’s Headline Inflation stands at 34.19% while Nigeria’s Food Inflation stands at 40.87%.
The Youth group, Akpaa Mbato Youth Development Forum has embarked on the second phase of reaching out to the indigent in society. The event took place in Akpaa Mbato Autonomous community where the youth visited needy families to support them in these hard times.
The Forum ably led by Hon.Chika Nwaokonko has reached out to indigent families in the community with food items, Toiletries, and cash to support these families.
Giving to those in need, particularly the indigent, can be an extraordinary act of kindness. Consider donating basic items like food, or personal hygiene products, or even volunteering your time at local community associations to make a significant distinction in their lives.
This is the second time the Youth Development Forum has moved to support her community positively and entice some level of growth, providing peace, security, and resilience amongst the youth.
The significance of this outreach is to promote empathy and compassion among individuals and communities, motivating people to realize and address the challenges encountered by those less fortunate. It strengthens society bonds by bringing people together to support one another and address social inequalities.
Some of the beneficiaries include; Ahukanna Adasuka, Chineyere John, Helen Ebenezar, Lilian Nwankwo, Nwachi Enyinnaya, and Happiness Obinna
