OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM HON. DONATUS E. NWANKPA (OMARAEME 1), NATIONAL WELFARE SECRETARY, APC

Fellow Constituents of Obingwa/Osisioma Ngwa/Ugwunagbor Federal Constituency,

I, Hon. Donatus E. Nwankpa, address a matter of great importance to clarify the misconceptions circulating about my political ambitions.

I categorically state that I will not be contesting for the Federal House of Representatives seat in 2027. This decision, though difficult, is necessitated by personal reasons, and I implore my supporters, fans and friends to respect my choice.

To my ardent fans and loyal supporters, I apologize for any disappointment this may cause. Your unwavering support and confidence in me are the bedrock of my public service, and I am humbled by your fervor.

The APC must present a candidate who embodies the values of integrity, competence, and commitment to the people. We owe it to ourselves, our constituency, and Nigeria to ensure that our representative delivers dividends of democracy especially to the grassroots.

As we navigate this moment, I urge you to remain steadfast and resolute in your commitment to the Party (APC), Renew Hope Agenda of Mr. President and our esteemed party leaders from Abia.

The future beckons, and I assure you that 2027 will be a landmark year for APC Abia, as we shall produce an APC Governor who will redefine the narrative of progress and prosperity.

To you, my dear party faithfuls and supporters, I express my profound gratitude for your trust and loyalty. I pledge to continue serving with dedication and integrity, and to never betray the confidence you have reposed in me.
