Breaking: PDP Appoints Ikpeazu Chairman of Convention Committee

Nigeria’s Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Spain and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has been appointed chairman of the PDP Convention Committee.

A statement from the National Caretaker Working Committee (NCWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), signed by Senator Samuel Anyanwu, National Secretary PDP NCWC, approved and released the membership of the 2026 PDP National Convention Organizing Committee, scheduled for 29th–30th March 2026, naming Ikpeazu as chairman.

The committee, composed of distinguished party leaders and stakeholders from across the country, is tasked with planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful conduct of the National Convention in accordance with the Constitution and guidelines of the Party.
