UNITY AND LOYALTY TAKE CENTER STAGE AS PETER AZUBUIKE RALLIES GRASSROOTS SUPPORT IN OBINGWA
Hon. Peter Azubuike, popularly known as “The Rock,” on March 16, 2026, hosted L.G.A Executives, Ward Coordinators, and Women Leaders of Old Obioma-Ngwa Concerned Citizens at his residence in Umungasi, Aba. The meeting, led by Apex-Body Coordinator Pst. Chidiebere Nwauzor, also coincided with the ongoing Labour Party online membership registration exercise, drawing strong grassroots participation and engagement.
In his opening remarks, Secretary to Obingwa L.G.A, Dr. Henry Ndubuisi Ahukanna, urged attendees to formally join the Labour Party and actively support Azubuike’s political ambition as well as the re-election of Governor Dr. Alex Otti. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing others and building momentum through the ongoing registration process. Pst. Nwauzor further charged members to remain committed, warning against divided loyalty and encouraging unwavering dedication to the cause.
Hon. Azubuike expressed appreciation for the support shown, assuring stakeholders of his sincerity and commitment to service. He stressed that politics should not be driven by hostility, affirming his willingness to support any credible candidate if necessary, while maintaining confidence in Governor Otti’s re-election bid. The meeting was attended by key stakeholders and party leaders, reinforcing unity and shared purpose within the group.
