Diplomatic Engagement: Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Spain Dr. Ikpeazu, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, in Abuja.
Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Spain, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, at her office in Abuja.
Mrs. Ojukwu, who previously served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, expressed delight at receiving the former Governor of Abia State. She noted that Spain hosts a significant Nigerian community and assured the Ambassador-designate that his extensive public service experience would equip him to navigate the responsibilities of his diplomatic posting.
“Spain is a good place with a large Nigerian community. The issues there are not beyond what you can handle, having served in public office and as Governor for eight years. Nigeria also enjoys a strong relationship with Spain,” she said.
