Abia 2027: PDP Candidate Dr. Kelechi Anosike Serves Otti Notice, Unveils Welfare Agenda

The Abia State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Kelechi Anosike, has officially kicked off his campaign ahead of the 2027 governorship election, signalling his determination to challenge the incumbent administration of Governor Alex Otti.
Speaking on a radio programme, Anosike, who described himself as a welfarist, unveiled a people-oriented agenda designed to improve the living conditions and economic prospects of Abians.
His proposed agenda covers key sectors including education, agriculture, sports, commerce and industry, artisans, civil servants and pensioners, with emphasis on creating opportunities, strengthening livelihoods and improving the welfare of citizens.
Anosike also stressed the need for meaningful infrastructure development alongside policies that directly impact the people, encapsulating his message in the phrase “Arụtụ Ụzọ, Arụtụ Afọ” a commitment to building infrastructure while taking the welfare of Abians seriously.
With the campaign now underway, Dr. Anosike has effectively thrown his hat into the ring and sent an early political signal to Governor Otti and other contenders ahead of the 2027 Abia governorship race.
