DR. NYERERE ANYIM TO RECEIVE ABIA APC FOUNDING FATHER & PIONEER LEADERSHIP AWARD IN ABUJA
Abuja — Chief Dr. Nyerere Chinenye Anyim is set to be honoured with the Abia APC Founding Father and Pioneer Leadership Award 2026 at the 9th National Interfaith Prayer Summit, Book Launch and Award Presentation scheduled to hold in Abuja.
The recognition is being conferred by the Office of the National Grassroots Mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 (ONGMPT 2027) in acknowledgement of Dr. Anyim’s contributions to nation-building, party growth, grassroots mobilization, and his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The event, themed “Strengthening the Soul of Our Nation and Honouring Leadership and Service,” is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
According to the invitation, Dr. Anyim has also been designated as a Distinguished Guest of Honour and Chairman of the occasion. He is expected to deliver an address and present awards to other distinguished Nigerians.
The national gathering is expected to bring together over 2,000 grassroots leaders, governors, ministers, APC National Working Committee members, royal fathers, clergy, and other key stakeholders from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The organizers described the award as a recognition of Dr. Anyim’s outstanding dedication, leadership, service, and commitment to the growth of the APC and national development.
The honour further underscores his longstanding role in the political development of Abia APC and his continued engagement in grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
