Designer Ohiri Lewis organized a significant end-of-year meeting at his residence in Umuobiakwa, Obingwa. The event gathered key leaders, political appointees, and party stakeholders from the region.

During the meeting, Designer Ohiri Lewis expressed his gratitude to the attendees, including both longstanding members and newcomers to the party. He noted his appreciation for the virtuous leadership within the local government and called on all Obingwa APC members to practice forgiveness and foster an atmosphere of peace and unity.

He took the opportunity to encourage support for President Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praising his dedication to the Ndi Igbo community and the progress represented by the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) as well as the appointment of distinguished Igbo individuals to various government roles.

Ohiri remarked, “Mr. President has made significant strides for Ndigbo and continues to do so. He is the only president who has remembered Ndi Igbo after years of broken promises for rehabilitation.”

At the meeting, the Chairman of APC in Obingwa, Chief Uzoma Ikeuka, praised Chief Ohiri for hosting the event and for generously donating a 600-capacity hall for party activities. He reflected on the party’s journey since its inception, highlighting that Abia South has yet to elect even a Councillor, but expressed confidence that, with capable leaders like Ohiri, the APC will secure victories in the 2027 elections. He urged party members to engage with their communities to recruit new members and acknowledged the encouraging growth of the party in Obingwa, urging continued efforts for further development.

Noteworthy attendees included Hon. Etonyeaku Chidiri, Elder Godwin Nnah, Hon. Uloma Nwogu, Chief Iheanyi Ikonne, and many other distinguished individuals.

A highlight of the meeting was the donation of a 600-capacity hall and garden to the APC for their events, alongside the welcome of over one thousand new members into the party.
