Obingwa: Hon. Nwadike, LG Management Team Inspects Local Govt Headquarters Secretariat

**Inspection of Obingwa Local Government Headquarters Secretariat by Executive Chairman, Hon. Maxwell Chinweikpe Nwadike**

On November 19, 2024, Hon. Maxwell Chinweikpe Nwadike, the Executive Chairman of Obingwa LGA, along with the local government management team, conducted an unscheduled inspection of the LG Secretariat premises.

The inspection covered all areas of the secretariat, starting from the proposed entrance to the General Hospital, extending to the road construction site and the ongoing floor stamping project, both of which were assessed for progress.

Dilapidated offices, intended to house various staff members, were examined. This included offices for Social Development, Sports, Community Development, Culture and Tourism, Library, Information, Welfare Unit, Adult Education, and Homeland Security.

Additional inspections included those of the Head of Service, Treasurer, and the Obingwa Local Government Education Authority building and offices. Mrs. Nwankwo Elizabeth Onyinyechi, Head of Accounts at OBLGEA, expressed gratitude to the chairman on behalf of the staff and welcomed him as Executive Chairman. In response, Hon. Maxwell thanked the OBLGEA staff for their warm reception and promised good governance. The Primary Health Centre was also thoroughly inspected.

The inspection concluded with the chairman instructing a representative from the road construction company to ensure his principal is invited to the office by issuing an immediate letter of invitation.
