Yesterday, I led a team on a familiarization visit to the MD/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).
Our discussions focused on opportunities to deploy renewable energy solutions in unserved and underserved communities across the South East. We also explored how REA can support alternative power solutions for key infrastructure projects we plan to roll out in the coming months.
The SEDC is committed to working closely with REA as a regional implementation Partner in addressing the power deficits that continue to hinder the South East’s development and industrialization.
