RTEAN AND NARTO HOLD A SOLIDARITY MARCH, SHOW SUPPORT FOR DR. OTTI, BACK HIM FOR 2027
Transport industry stakeholders and workers in Aba united in a demonstration of support for Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, by organizing a solidarity march that covered over 4 kilometers. The event, facilitated by the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) and the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), began at the fire service station in Aba south LGA and concluded at the Osisioma Ngwa modern motor park in Osisioma Ngwa LGA. http://https//www.evergreenreporters.com.ng
At a brief ceremony following the march, both unions collectively expressed their trust in Governor Otti and officially endorsed him as their favored candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial election. The adoption was led by Hon. Chief Nnamdi Balogu, RTEAN’s Abia State Chairman, and Chief Amobi Ohaeri of NARTO. In their speeches, they praised the Governor for his notable achievements and committed to his continued support, highlighting his advancements in transportation infrastructure and accessibility across the area.
Several prominent figures from the transport union community participated in the solidarity march, including Chief Chidiebere Ogaraku Anyanwu, Comrade Ephraim Tochi (Tompa Global), Hon. Emeka Izimah, the joint motor union chairman in Osisioma Ngwa, among others.
The event showcased the unity and solidarity among transport stakeholders in Aba, reinforcing their joint commitment to Governor Otti’s leadership and vision for the future.
