On Thursday, December 5th, 2024, the Executive Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area, Hon. Maxwell Chinweikpe Nwadike, attended the End of Year Get-Together of the Abia State Community Policing/Vigilante, held to celebrate the accomplishments of the year and foster stronger collaboration. As the chief host of the event, Hon. Maxwell Chinweikpe Nwadike delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the vital role of community policing in ensuring safety and security across the state. His message highlighted the importance of unity, resilience, and the continued commitment of the community policing and vigilante groups in tackling security challenges. In recognition of his unwavering support for their efforts, Hon. Maxwell Chinweikpe Nwadike was later decorated with the official uniform of the group, symbolizing his strong partnership with them in securing Abia State. The event concluded on a positive note, further strengthening the bond between the local government and the vigilante forces.
