Governor Alex Otti has directed Lady Joy Maduka to proceed to compulsory retirement.

The cited document signed by the head of services stated that the directive has immediate effects.
It could be recalled that recently the Governor suspended the commissioner for Health Mrs. Ngozi Okoronkwo over mismanagement of funds. Just yesterday the former Chief Press Secretary Mr. Kazie Uko was sacked and replaced with Mr. Ukoha.
The reason for the compulsory retirement of Joy Maduka is yet to be known as all efforts made to reach her were proved abortive.
