What will you do?
As a Data Engineer with our Vancouver client, you will:
•Work in a multi-disciplinary scrum team to collect business data and build data pipelines.
•Implement and deploy highly scalable big data analytics system in the AWS environment.
•Prepare and optimize AWS redshift table for business analytics.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Data Engineer role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
•5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer.
•3-5 years’ experience with Python and SQL querying.
•2-3 years’ experience with Data processing tools (Airflow and Pentaho).
•Ability to ready Java code.
•Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar platform.

What additional experience do you bring?
When being considered for the Data Engineer role with our Vancouver client, it’s nice to have:
•Experience with AWS Redshift.
•Hadoop ecosystem knowledge.
•Experience with Green Plum and Vertica.
•Experience with OLAP and MDX.
•DevOps skills.
•Experience with NoSQL databases.
•Experience with Tableau.
